A little about me, Fiona

I started studying ceramics at Northern Beaches TAFE (Brookvale) in 2022, and have completed the 2 years' Ceramics Foundations course. In 2024 I commenced studying the Diploma of Ceramics.

I have lived a creative life and have always kept busy with creative pursuits. Photography, sewing, crochet, paper crafts, macrame, just to name a few, have kept me busy over the years. I've worked as a Creative Editor for a paper crafts magazine and have taught at craft shows around Australia and in private studios. 

Before ceramics I was a baker and a small business owner. I'm a qualified pastry cook, having completed the Retail Baking certificate course at NSI TAFE, and I have baked many delicious and beautiful celebration cakes through my business, BakedByFiona.

For over 16  years I owned and operated an online store called Ribbons Galore, selling ribbons and craft items sourced from around the world. This has given me a wealth of knowledge operating an online space, including product photography which is a particular passion of mine.

I work from my Willoughby ceramics studio, located on Sydney's lower North Shore.
